Two new marsh paintings

Here are two new water paintings I’ve just finished. These are scenes of St. Simons Island, Georgia, where I’ve visited a few times to paint en plein air. These are larger works though, so I did them in the studio:

“As Evening Falls”, 30×36″, oil on canvas

“Cloud Reflections”, 30×40″, oil on canvas

Thank you Lubna- I really enjoy painting the coastal wetlands. I love the way the water cuts winding patterns into the marsh grass.
