Several times I have had the great fortune to travel to Italy, and it has always held a special place in my heart. This painting was created after I returned from an incredibly wonderful trip to Lake Como, which is a beautiful lake situated at the foot of the Pre-Alps, in the northern part of Italy. This scene is of the lakeside on the boatride to the Villa Balbianello. I hope you enjoy viewing this piece as much as I enjoyed painting it! |
