About the Painting: Several times I have had the great fortune to travel to Italy, and it has always held a special place in my heart. Pienza is a lovely village located in southern Tuscany. Not only does it have lovely streets like this one, it is also the home of Pecorino cheese! One of the things I love about Italy is the care that the residents take with their gardens. Even if there is no space for a garden, homeowners lovingly tend to their potted plants, which are usually filled with herbs or colorful flowers. Whenever I see potted geraniums, they always remind me of Tuscany. I hope you enjoy viewing this piece as much as I enjoyed painting it!
