France is such an amazing country filled with diversity and great beauty. The region of Provence abounds with fields of poppies, sunflowers, and lavender bursting with fragrance and color. Southwestern France has its own unique character, with winding rivers, bucolic pastures, and charming medieval villages. Everywhere you turn, there are hundreds of paintings in the making, and I feel so fortunate to have painted there en plein air. The beauty of this country and its people keep me returning again and again.
