The
village of Roussillon is famous for its magnificent red cliffs and ochre
quarries, and the buliding facades reflect this with their rich hues of
reds, yellows, browns and ochres. These natural colors make a striking
contrast against brilliant azure shutters the blue skies beyond. This
was a scene we came upon while strolling in this delighful French Provencial
village. I hope you enjoy viewing this painting as much as I enjoyed making
